Beautiful dress, terrible size and design

I was so excited for this gorgeous dress that I ordered in a size M and I’m a size AU8 but it doesn’t fit over my head (and my head isn’t big I usually have to buy small hats). The garment hasn’t been measured and sewed in a Womens dress shape either it’s baggy and tight in all the wrong places (once I finally forced it over my head).
Not sure if maybe my order was a faulty one?
